Last day in Glasgow which we were pretty happy about - its horrible to say but this place just really sucked the life out of us to the point where we just did not want to do anything!!!
We went for a walk into the city centre and decided today would be a good day to go to the movies so we went and saw Prometheus, the prequel to the Alien series. The cinema chairs were pretty cool as they were motion sensor so they shook and tilted with different scenes in the movie.
After killing a couple of hours at the movies we decided it was time for a coffee and to work out where we were going to go for dinner - we wanted to go somewhere that didn't serve pub food.
After much perusing on the Internet I found the corinthian club - a mansion once owned by a merchant banker and now converted into a casino, nightclub,restaurant and several bars!!
The food and the mojitos were awesome and very reasonably priced. After dinner we decided to walk home. There is a pub just next to the hotel where we were staying called the Waterloo - Sean decided he would have one more drink before going to bed so he decided to pop into the waterloo - if anyone has seen police academy well we had a blue oyster bar moment - yes it was a gay bar - I first noticed as soon as we walked in and all heads turned - the next thing I noticed was all the naked men pictures on the wall - it was after a few minutes did the penny drop with Sean, it was the funniest thing that has happened since being in Glasgow. We finished our drinks and made for home ready for our flight to Dublin the next day!!!
