After having breakfast and getting the car packed for our journey we decided to spend the day and night in Galway. We left Limerick and not that far out of the city it started to rain - surprise oh surprise but unlike Glasgow where you just felt depressed the rain only added to the atmosphere. We hit the roads again as we set back out on the Irish roads with our final destination to be Cork. Our first stop after our Dublin visit was to be Limerick but we had a few things to see on our way there!!! Our first stop was Newgrange, which was approximately a 30 min drive from Diblin. Newgrange is a 5000 year old prehistoric passage tomb. Older than the pyramids, it is quite amazing. Every year for the winter solstice it allows 17 mins of sunlight to travel...

Our second day in Dublin and we decided to sleep in a bit later due to our big night the night before.
