We had 2 great days in this lovely old city. It is amazing to see what restoration has taken place after the bombing in the war in 1991-92. Over 2000 bombs and shells were launched into Dubrovnik but you wouldn't believe it, except when you walk around the walls and see all the new red tiled roofs which have been replaced. We flew to Dubrovnik in the very south of Croatia and thanks to John & Julie had the best accommodation (with a very unusual landlord!) at the gate of the old town.
