Last day in HK... Lazy start seeing as we wil be in flight overnight again. Spending a bit of time in the Kowloon Gardens aviary. There's some interesting parrots and cocketoos - as well as this interesting fellow with a strange beak... Then hopefuly we'll find Mrs Wing's kiosk for a few dim sums to keep us going until the next airline meal!

Took a walk down the local "Avenue of Stars" and saw exciting hand prints of people like Sir Run Run Wah (and also more famous ones like Jackie Chan). Also learnt exciting stuff like the first film made in HK was "Stealing The Roast Duck" in 1909... We'll sleep better for knowing that i'm sure, though all i want to know is who done it?! ;-)

Early start for our second day (first night) in HK - up in time to catch a coach at 8.30 to take us round HK Island. Interesting, some good info... and we set off through their own "channel tunnel" across the water completed in 1972 I think - avoids taking the coach on a ferry. Apparently HK had the world's 4th tallest building at 118 storeys in height - surprising, thought it would have had to be taller?! We went and saw some of the sights, particula...

Stopped at a local food kiosk for a bite to eat at lunch - dim sums and chinese tea. In the evening - thai at the Basil Thai Restaurant in Ocean Center, and managed to catch the evening light show at Victoria Harbour as the mist/ clouds from earlier in the day had lifted.
