Hurray! We're home.... and happy people but VERY tired, so off to sleeeeep.

Here we are back in our home town Bovey Tracey. It is a bit strange at the moment as we still feel like visitors, however I am sure it won't be long before it feels as if we never left! It is lovely seeing our friends and family after all this time. We have been travelling for fifteen months, worked for twenty three hosts in twenty countries. We visited Spain, Portugal, France, Sicily, Hungary, Czech, Germany, Poland, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico and Canada. We also spent an hour or two in the airports of Australia, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan, but I am told they don't count unless you stay overnight!

Most of our workaways were for about two weeks duration and the longest stay was for four weeks. In Germany we had three different workaways, one in Bavaria and two in East Germany. In New Zealand we had two workaways, one in the North Island and one in the South Island.

We have had a most amazing time and met some wonderful people along the way. The trip has more than exceeded out expectations and it wouldn't have been possible without the Workaway website and the hosts offering work in exchange for board and lodging. Our skills have been well utilised and we know our contribution has made a difference to those we visited. The feedback on our profile page on the workaway site has been very flattering, we arrived as strangers and left as friends who hope to meet again in the future. It is very sad that this is my final post, but I am so pleased I took the effort to keep the blog as I have a wonderful record of our experiences travelling around the world together. Bye
