Last day in Cabacerias de Basto today. We hopped on the bus to Braga a small city in the North of Portugal. Roman re enactment week and lots of locals dressed up in Roman costume. Very pretty town with lots of old buildings and churches. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Half-way through our stay in Portugal now, weather has again been kind and sunny with no rain. Some days are hot and others cloudy but warm. We are real farm hands this week, shoveling manure over fields by hand and tending blueberries planted in the most beautiful meadow that smells enchantingly of wild mint. Well here we are in Portugal. It is a wonderful farm in a lovely location in the hills near the town of Cabeceiras de Basto, a small Portugeuse town.
