Adventures of a Global Wanderer
Walking thru the old town I was trying to get to the castle at one end. When I found it the museum was closed due to building renovations. There was some bikers event going on as there were lots of bikers walking around town and the road was closed off for the bikers further on. Drunk locals were waiting by tourist areas and trying to approach me a few times.
I found the Three Brothers house and went to the Dome Cathedral which had 1.50 Eu admission ($1.75).
Then I made my way to the Blackheads House which is a Guild Hall but not open to the public. The outside was elaborately decorated and the best restored building in the old town which is in need of a lot of TLC. I also found the Synagogue which wasnt open to the public either.
Next I made my way to Mentzendorff's House which was not too easy to locate. This is an old merchants home with original furnishings. The artwork on the walls and ceilings was quite elaborate. Entrance was 3.85 Eu but 5.50 Eu with a camera ticket.
Finally to the Guild Halls but they are both closed on Sunday.
