Got up and got the bus to Panama. The bus stops on the CR side of the border and you have to walk over to Panama on foot. I really really wish I had learned Spanish and if I ever go back to central America I will make sure I do. Didn't think they were going to let me in as I had forgotton to print out my flight leaving Panama to go back to Mexico -ooops. After showing the guy my flight confirmations for all of my other flights he reluctantly let me in - pheww. A wee guy sold me a bus and ferry ticket to Bocas del Toro so went and got myself a beer while I waited on it leaving. Beer is only $1 - I like this place already!
So on the bus and I am talking to this Israeli guy who asks me where I am from. I tell him near Glasgow and this guy in front turns round and asks whereabouts. Tell him EK and turns out that's where he is from as well. How weird is that! It's such a small world. He hasn't lived there for a while but that's where he was brought up. Got to Bocas del Toro about 2pm to the pissing rain again! Don't really do much in the afternoon because of the weather. Went for a few drinks with a Canadian guy who is staying in the same room and a few others in the hostel. Was quite a good night but absolutely shattered so head to bed kind of early.

Booked a snorkelling trip today. On the way to the first stop we see some dolphins, it was amazing seeing them in the wild. It's a shame we couldn't snorkle with them.
The snorkelling itself was nothing compared to Caye Caulker, in fact it was pretty s***. You really couldn't see that much, just a few fish, nothing special at all.
After that we went to this private beach and had to walk through some jungle to get to it. It was gorgeous, there had been an earthquake recently which had destroyed some of it which was a shame. All in all a good day and the sun shined through all of it.
Met a Swedish guy on the trip who is staying at the hostel so we have decided to have a few drinks tonight.
Bought some rum and had quite a bit to drink in the hostel and then went out to a bar with Mr Sweden, Canada and Germany (can't remember names). Had a very good laugh actually, drank some more and danced a bit.
Went back to the hostel and had a few more drinks while a couple of the boys decided to arm wrestle. This other guy ended up coming up who wasn't staying in the hostel and the b****** tried to steal my camera. He casually put his hand in my bag while he was talking to me hoping I wouldn't notice. Well I did!! In hindsight I probably should not have tried to get it back, he was a local and huge, he could have done anything. The other guys held his hands behind his back while I took my camera out of his back pocket. I was completely shaking by the time it was over, nice adrenaline rush for me! Definitely time for bed I think!
