After leaving Phillip Island we ended up taking a look at Wilsons Promontory, a side track well worth the detour. Some beautiful beaches and incredible scenery, however it was the weekend and it seemed everyone from Melbourne had escaped the city. Not a spare camp site to be seen. Leaving Hotel Morgan for the last time, we headed back up to Mount Beenak, Mark and Fin's place in the Yarra Valley. We were treated to a couple of lovely days and some great feasts by Mark (unfortunately Fin was on a field trip for her university course so we missed seeing her). Back to our Melbourne home - Chateau Morgan. More quality time on the couch, relaxing and hanging out with Stevie, Lisa and Torah. The guys organised a little get-together at their place on our last night, so we could meet the rest of Lisa's family, and also catch up with the Boyds, who were currently staying in Geelong, almost at the end of their journey. It turned into a rather big night, as it was always destined to do when the travelling gang got together. ...

Upon returning to Melbourne, Steve was able to wrangle a couple of days off work so it was decided that a camping trip to the Murray was the go. The boys drove the Jayco up Friday night, to be joined by Andy (Steve's work mate), with boat in tow. The boys had the day to themselves to fish and ski, before the girls (Lea, Lisa and Torah), followed by Andy's partner Rachel, joined the party Saturday arvo. It was a great long weekend with skiing, swimming relaxing...

One of the trips from Melbourne was up to visit Lea's sister Trey, kinda where it all started from the test run some 11 months ago. It was a great catch up, staying with Trey in her new house that was now finished! (Except for the landscaping, a mammoth project ahead for Trey, given the block is over 2000 square metres).
