We left for Dubai at 6.15am Sunday 14th November, we arrived at our hotel at 10pm Dubai time. First impressions of our hotel was good, then found out that Dubai were having a holiday day so shock, horror no alcohol was being served anywhere! Luckily we had our own! The hotel is lovely, temperature is the best we've ever had in Dubai although it did rain Monday afternoon for about an hour. Loads of restaurants and some good bars which aren't a rip-off. Went to the Dubai Mall at the Burj Tower - wow it is huge, didn't buy anything but worth a look. Got the free shuttle bus to Le Royal Merdien at the beach and spent the day there, was beautiful, looking forward to going back there at the end of our trip. Have had a fabulous time at Le Meridien and would definitely come back.

Off to Singapore tomorrow, leaving here at 7.15am for our 9.40am flight, early night tonite.
