Mission Beach Arrived in Mission Beach around 4pm, it was a long drive, just over 6 hours.It was overcast with a bit of rain when we arrived.On our drive towards the hotel we kept seeing signs saying to drive slowly because it is a Cassowary conservation area. Cairns/Airlie Beach Left Sydney for Cairns about 11.30am. Took off about 3pm was a two and three quarterhour flight so arrived in Cairns around 5.45pm, had to put the clock back an hour, which helped for our drive down country. SYDNEY Arrived in Sydney at 10.20am and took a taxi to our apart/hotel . Well we were very impressed. It was an apartment but felt more like a suite in an hotel.
