Mission Beach Arrived in Mission Beach around 4pm, it was a long drive, just over 6 hours.It was overcast with a bit of rain when we arrived.On our drive towards the hotel we kept seeing signs saying to drive slowly because it is a Cassowary conservation area. Took off about 3pm was a two and three quarterhour flight so arrived in Cairns around 5.45pm, had to put the clock back an hour, which helped for our drive down country.
