Kuala Lumpur

We arrived in Kuala Lumpur at around 8am, we were picked up by the hotel and arrived around 9.30am. We went to our room which was again more like an appartment. We Went out for a walk and look around. It was already hot and sticky. We caught the local monorail which cost a whole 22 pence each! to a local shopping center and had a looked round and had lunch. We looked at our map and realised we could get the monorail to the KL Tower. So we hopped back on and got off near the Tower. We started walking in what we thought was the right direction but after about 15 mins started to feel we may have gone wrong! Eventually we realised we were in China Town, which when we looked at our map was the complete other side of town! We had a look round for a while then caught a taxi back to the hotel and realised the entrance to the KL tower was right by our hotel! Went to dinner that night at TGi Fridays, a bit diferent from home. Next day went to see the Petronus Towers which were very impressive and had a look in the shopping center there and In the afternoon we went up the KL Tower which gave an excellent view over KL. Had a nice meal out that night.We left the next day for our last stop before home, Dubai. Forgot to say as we were standing in the queue at passport control in KL, I heard someone call 'John' when I looked up, standing there was Teresa, Unbelievable all that way from home and we bump into someone we know!!
