Captains Log. Star Date 28.09.05 Hello possums! Well Melbourne, I am afraid to say, is not my fave place in the world... I dont really have a good raeson for this other than I am just not 'feeling it'. Tuesday, I spent driving, well, being driven, down the Great Ocean Road, which follows...see if you can guess?? Yes well done those in the front row, the edge of the ocean! It is therefore a very windy long road, which caused slight travel sickness from one of my fellow passengers, it provided some really beautiful views. We went koala spotting on our way and saw smoe wild koala's in trees along route. They are so cute! And sit up really high in the trees, tehy must cling on tight because it would get pretty windy up that high! We finally ended at the twelve, or more appropriatly now, 8 ish... apostles. They were cool, but a bit overrated in my opinion... just my opinion there! Wednesday was the 'official' neighbours tour. Which meant that rather being driven around in a plain bus we were driven around in a big blue one with "neighbours" sprawled across the side! Oh the tourist shame of it. We stopped off at Erinsborough high and went past the studios were most of it is filmed, unfortunatly no one is allowed in there so we looked from the outside, its a bit difficult to get excited about the outside of some studio buildings! I did get quite excited when we were told thats where Rove Live is filmed... next time I'm over I will go to a show! (I'll try anyway!) NExt stop was Ramsey Street, oooooh are you all excited?? They were filming when we arrived, which meant we wernt actually allowed onto the street, but did see Izzy and Ned filming some scenes, which was cool... the best bit was the photo's with the street sign! And the clip board photo for those of you who are interested, was the real one they were using in the scene being filmed. The guy with it came over inbetween takes and asked if we would like photo's with it?? Er YEAH we would!! : ) Thats about all I did in Melbourne... over and out xxx
