The best part of today was my great friends Lisa and Glenn came over to my Mom's for dinner. They arrived around 6pm and that is when the fun began. Even though we only get to see Lisa and Glenn a couple of times per year, they are the kind of people that it feels like we hang out every day. It is so much fun for Eric and I to hang out with another couple that gets along and shares as much love between them as we do. We built a fire in the outdoor fire pit, drank wine, had dinner and hung out until midnight. We laughed so much it felt like 6 hours went by in the blink of an eye. I can't wait until the next time we get to see them again.

The rest of the day was kind of boring. We did laundry and packed and started loading the car for the long drive home. Mom cleaned the house a little to get ready for company and we relaxed in the afternoon for a few hours.
