We woke up this morning to freezing drizzle which can sometimes put a damper on traveling. We managed to get out of the driveway which turned out to be the hardest part of the day. The drive to the airport was uneventful and we made it to BWI with plenty of time to spare. Our flight was delayed by about 25 minutes but we were able to make it up in the air and landed in LA almost on time. 6 hours is a long flight and tomorrows flight is 11 hours. I am not sure how I am going to entertain myself. Ryan looked at me as we were crossing the Rockies and said "you are right back where you started." This is true but it took me over 3000 miles to get there.

Eric met us at baggage claim in LAX. It is so nice to have him with us. Now I really feel like I am on vacation. My Grandma asked if Eric was here in California yet and I told her he met us at baggage claim. She said "well, picking up a husband at baggage claim is sure a lot more exciting than claiming bags." I agree.

Redondo Beach is a fun town right on the coast. It was raining when we got here and the bellman told us it is the first time it rained in 4 months. I am sure they are happy for the moisture here in California but did it really have to come the one night we are here? Hopefully it will not follow us around everywhere we go. Our room is right on the water overlooking the Marina. We have quite the view.

Tomorrow we fly to Nadi Fiji. Our flight leaves at 10:30pm on Tuesday night and we land in Nadi at 5:15am on Thursday morning. We will completely be missing Wednesday. The time difference is +18 hours from EST and +16 from MST.
