Hey yo Stevo! Am surprised that you are actually in Guyana! Good for you mate as you will have plenty of experiences and also deserved it after 3 years of degree! Us 4 are delighted that you have departed Sheffield without seeing your ugly face!! I´m in Santiago atm and having a brilliant time so far. Off to Argentina later tonight, looking forward to it. Not sure if we can manage to go all way to Guyana to visit you as we only have 4 weeks left! BUT we´ve got a car so.......wait and see! Have a wonderful time and enjoy the experience with Guyana deaf children. All the best. Antx P.S Brill I can take over your position for football in whatever club it is!

Greetings both of you!
Glad to hear of your safe arrival at Guyana, and hope the flight was a good one. Charming of Gill to think that being the first person on the message board is like winning the national lottery(!)
Are you keeping up with the sports news back in the UK such as football/cricket news? if not, let me know and I'll pop them on the messageboard or email! :-)
Still going on around with my job hunting here, and of course, no luck so far! Enjoy your time down there, and of course, keep a eye out for yourself all the times!
All the best!

Steven!
Glad to hear from your email that you arrived in Guyana ok and seems like you are already fitting in! Am jealous of you, living it up large in the South American wild whilist I am tackling the concepts of a filing system in a small stuffy office!!! Hahaha!!!
Keep us updated and keep the photos coming -

Hey Stevo - Really inspired with your updates as I've had my experiences from Nicaragua and Ghana, in fact we may be going to Ghana again this Autumn for another project! News from my side - We had a baby girl Layla last July 13th and a recent test has confirmed that Layla's profoundly deaf just like the rest of our family which is excellent news for us!
Visited Leeds last weekend for Reese (Dowdican)'s 1st birthday and popped round the deaf club which is going under a good renovation, they should consider themselves lucky with the other deaf clubs in the world especially the developing countries. Black Country won the Four Club tournament by the way.
Jasper's developing his own identity and grasping the basics of language with pointing to a lot of references and we keep feeding him with signs and he's taking five steps before tumbling down - all exciting to us!
Enjoy your experience down at Guyana, can't wait for the photos to come out as there's problems with your photos at this moment!
