Deaf Guyana
Hello my buddies!
I am so sorry for not able to up to date with my progress of my year for 2 months :S :(
Anyways here it is! :D I want to tell u Joanna and mine experience of the trip to the world's longest single drop waterfall, Kaieteur Fall. It is magnificent sight from the air and the land too. It was wonderful to see the fall and to enjoy the day in the sun and trek as we have had 4 chances to see the falls from the land, from various distance from around 200 metres away to just 10 metres which i was given the opportunity to swim in the very same river that lead to the drop!! i was swimming around 10 metres away from it!! :S u can see in the picture for the proof! :P :)
The flight took an hour from Georgetown and we travel with other 5 tourists and we saw lots of different sights on the way, we fly around the fall 3 times or more i cant count exactly how many!! lol and took lots of photos of it! :D Then we land in the nature park, and we took the trip on foot, took around an hour with lots of stopping to listen the guide talking about the nature of flowers etc!! i try to pay attention but joey wasnt listening most of it and rather to play with the guide's nephew!! actually it is more fun than listen to waffles!! :)
We saw the rare bird of Guyana, c*** of the Rock (orange bird as u can see it in the photo album.) and saw other wildlifes and flowers. We saw the nose looking rock on the cave!! (damn i didnt take the picture of it) but we laugh so much cos she told me that it look like my nose and i agree with her!! :D
Then we had our first sight of the waterfall, from around 200 metres away, it was really nice view and we took the pictures, then we move on to second spot, around 130 metres away and took more pictures before moving on to 3rd spot which it is 70 metres away and we had lunch there. enjoying the food with beautiful sight of the waterfall. We saw orange frog and colourful spider, never seen like it beofre in my life!! (consider i am fan of spiders!)
Then we went to right next to the fall where i had a swim in the river and chill out for half hour before we go back to the plane and fly back to Georgetown. we had a last chance to see the waterfall before leaving it behind!
I had to say that i really enjoy the trip as i am sure that Joey agree with me! :D Great trip.
Hope it is entertaining enough for u to read! :D
Cheers and love u all
