This is the first day of our awesome trip. I was so excited that I couldn't even sleep, at the same time I was worrying about forgetting to pack stuff that I was supposed to. But when I woke up, everything in my brain was gone. The only thing in my brain was how to have fun during the trip.
I arrived the bus stop before sun rise. I was so excited, and worried about what will happen. I wasn't even sure if I was in the right place until my friends started coming.
When the sun rose, we took a group picture, and our adventure began.
When I first stepped on the bus, I see most people on the bus were African Americans. Even the bus had a question: how would me life be without African Americans? In the past three hundred years, they had a huge impact on today's communities. When I arrive Dallas, I see thousands of African Americans and immigrants walking on the streets, talking and laughing. Back to the 1800s, people like them had no rights, freedom, or liberty. They struggled with their rights throughout U.S. history.
After passing the TSA, we had about fifteen minutes to eat lunch. We were rushing the whole day.
Hours later, we arrived Charlotte, NC. We were all tired after hours of flying. We got off the plane, and had half hour of relaxation and charging time.
We got on the plane again, with another two hours of flying. My friends and I were listening to music, playing games, and chatting. I did not feel tired at all this time.
I fell asleep again, when I opened my eyes, I saw the moon was over the clouds, bright as the sun. I wasn't sure where I was, or how long we have been flying, until they announced that we are close to Boston.
After arriving Boston, we met our tour director, Marianne. When I saw her, I felt happy, and relaxed because she was nice and joking around with us.
Few minutes later, we arrived our hotel, and, that was our first day off the trip.
