Hello all,

We've just spent an eternity uploading some of our Malaysia photos so we'll let them speak for themselves and keep this blog very brief.

Firstly, we are now in Sydney, Australia in apalling weather conditions; go on, have a laugh! Actually, sitting in this internet cafe is at least keeping us dry! After our fantastic time in the Cameron Highlands things moved on very fast. You arrive in one place to unpack one day and then start packing again the next evening to move off the following day! Can't wait for the campervan when we won't have to unpack for a whole month!

After Cameron we moved to Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights. This is an amazing city which we explored via public transport and on foot. The highlight was probably the KL Tower viewing platform with immense views of the city and to the mountains beyond. We visited just after an horrendous thunderstorm and the rising mists and clouds added magically to the atmosphere. We moved to the old colonial town of Melaka -the most important Malay town before Singapore was developed and spent the day exploring in searing heat and electrical storms. From there we entered sultry Singapore, a city known to us from previous travels. In order to maximise our time there we joined a night safari at the zoological gardens -great fun, and again used public transport to explore the city the following day.

After 43 days of travelling in a group we bade farewell to many new friends -some of whom we'd happily meet with again- we flew out to Australia........and our next adventure!
