Lazy day in Sorrento . Late breakfast, walk to the town centre for some shopping. Back to the hotel and the pool. Late lunch of pizza. Indulgent dinner on the 7th floor, Japanese was very good, just a whole lot more expensive than home. Only 1 other Japanese restaurant which is in Naples . Early night to catch flight to santorini

Early breakfast at Hilton. Taxi to pier to see if we can get on ferry and made it with minutes to spare. Mariska tolerated the ferry, seas were calm. Positano very pretty but lots of climbing up the steep hillside. Mariska stops halfway up & goes back down to sit on beach. The beach costs 20 Eur per hour for sunchair & umbrella. Last minute shopping in Rome before 1230pm train to Naples Had to get the Calvin Klein leather overnight bag we saw 2 days ago, 50% sale. Dropped in to Samsonite & bought a purse. Last full day in Rome today. Nothing planned. Sleep in as still recovering from our appearance at the colosseum, we are tired gladiators. After breakfast, we had a lazy morning, walked to Trevi fountain, very crowded. Walked to Renaiscentre & went up to the rooftop bar, Moet Chandon champagne promotion, just the thing for Mariska.
