Food adventures continue. We normally go for the eastern breakfast but this hotel has a huge buffet so we tried the western delicacies on offer. David thought that spaghetti carbonara was an interesting choice for breakfast but Yvonne went for the potatoes dauphinoise with hot dog sausages.
Spent most of the day lazing by the pool, but we are now sitting in Little Owl bar enjoying beer, ice coffee with milk, coconut cakes and crispy pancake with prawns and pork - see today's photo and note Yvonne couldn't wait and took a bite.
Back out tonight for some food and this was the best yet, crispy noodles are the best in a great back street cafe called Nina's, easy to find down a back lane around a corner into an ally then down to the end and into what appears to be someone's garden where we interrupt a family card game. Turns out they were cooking the food so after we ordered they all went into the kitchen. Now back in little owl bar (good beer and wifi)
Off tomorrow to Hoi An by train.
