Well the last few places we went to was Mission beach where David bravely did his skydive over the Great Barrier Reef at 14,000 ft. I chickened out. Fear completely overtook my body. He came down and his face was a picture! I didn't get to see him land because the stupid bus never came back to pick me up - I was gutted.

We are now in Cairns at the end of our East coast journey. It has taken us 5 weeks to do this trip from Sydney to Cairns and we have some made some amazing life long friends along the way. We have been in Cairns for 4 days so far and loving it. The weather is gorgeous and we have been relaxing by the lagoon because it is unsafe to go in the sea because of the crocodiles and stinger jellyfish. We went on a bus tour around the Atherton tablelands yesterday which are a range of flat mountains like tables hence where it got its name from. We first went to Josephine Falls where we saw massive spider the size of your hand. We walked down to the lagoon on the falls where we got in the freezing cold water and swam across to the rocks where we climbed up and went down the natural water slide. We then went to Ellinjaa falls, Zillie falls and the beautiful Millaa Millaa falls where Peter Andre's mysterious girl, the Timotei and Herbal Essences adverts where filmed. We then went to Mungalli falls where we had a lovely picnic lunch and then on to Lake Eacham where we swam in the natural crator of the volcano filled by rain water and sunbathed. We stopped at the Curtain fig tree on the way home which is a tree which has fallen over and other trees latched onto it and suffocated it to create a curtain effect. We also saw a tree kangaroo which are apparently really rare.
