Who said anything about redecorating? I just thought I'd make a start on tidying the mess you left.... but haven't got any further than opening the door and closing it again. It's far too hot to do any kind of physical work, so I have returned to my exam marking. Three months should be long enough to enable you to sleep in the bed on your return... Gute Fahrt, as they say in Deutschland. Love, Mum.

Just worked out how to post a message ..... but entered it by mistake, before I'd written anything.... my IT skills continue to amaze. Glad you are having a great time - love reading the blog -such wit! An IPUWD award awaits Farida on her return, for surviving 8 months of your continuous banter. Not an easy task... Hi to anyone who knows me, especially to Amy, Dan,Tash, and Boon - Logistics Manager extraordinaire -(We have loads of stuff that needs moving - most of it in Dave's bedroom.. interested?). Would love to see any or all of you sometime! Liebe Grüße. A.

Yes, it's a kookaburra (I know because I saw one in Auchingarrich, in the Scottish Highlands - see, you're not the only one who's travelled)....

How's your sack Dave?
I heard it was getting kicked about a bit. But maybe that was just Ricardo pulling MY sack. (not gay)
While you're in Sydney make sure you have one of those 'Unspecified Meat' pies. They get more tasty the later it is in the evening, and the more VB you have to drink. I caught VB once.
Anyway. Just a warning across your bow, Australian Pies are legendary for their offal to pastry & other 'assorted ingredients' ratio. Apparently they can fill those little critters with up to 80% of the stuff.
All the best,
Your caring dietician,
Frost the Junior.

Just thought I'd let you know ;-)

Dave, having experienced Super14 and now AFL, try and get yourselves tickets to one of the rugby league State of Origin games - Brisbane 14/06/06 or Melbourne 05/07/06 - probably the most intense rugby matches on the planet of any description. Didn't see you in the crowd on tele in Christchurch unfortunately, unless you were dressed as nuns, in which case, I liked the fishnets - green's your colour.

Just caught up with your bungy jump. Sounds very good. Did Farida do it too?
Hope you enjoy Australia as much as New Zealand (tho dont tell the Kiwis I said so ...).
We're trying to keep up with your level of excitement - after Minehead, Bath, and soon the Isle of Wight beckons. Good, eh?
Thnaks for numbing your bum in the internet cafes you frequent. We're loving your news!
Lots of love

Dave. Dude. I have told Mom I'm leaving for Bolivia next week as the toucans are better company than her and the water slides look fun. Mom thanks you for inspiring any future rebellious escape attemps. Love Graham
