Did the day tour to the pinnacles yesterday & it was a good day. You good say its just thousands of rocks in the sand but its a bit surreal when you get out there. Its definetly worth seeing, a must if your in Western Australia. The obligatory National Park & crap lunch were thrown into the bargain but the pinnacles is the main highlight.

Though the sandboarding & off road driving in the 4wd is cool as well, driving down steep almost vertical sand dunes in a 4wd is a bit of an adrenalin rush, a cool experience. I couldnt really get the hang of sand boarding, its meant to be a bit like snow boarding but Ive never done that. My first 2 goes went horribly wrong, I came flying off the board to everyones amusement but it was good crack. My 3rd & final go was better but I still came flying off the board into the sand.

Well thats it really. Perth has been ok, its a small town, the weather has picked up after a rainy start, 4/5 days here is enough, I think I went a little overbaord by staying 8 nights. Off to Darwin on Thursday, its the rainy season up there now so I'm guaranteed to take in a few thunderstorms, its all good.
