Today we wandered about Chinatown, firstly going to the museum. It was very interesting and well displayed, despite lots of upgrading of the facility going on. Entry fee was 1rm (about nz 50c).
So now we feel a lot more knowledgable about the Malay culture. We spent a couple of hours there.
We had to return to our hotel as David was not feeling too good. We think he was only dehydrated so I went off by myself for a while. On my return he came with me to buy a t-shirts but unfortunately didn't last very long so went back. He has spent most of the late afternoon and evening sleeping.
In the meantime I've been out again, and was stopped by an american girl who wanted to know where I'd got the coconut water i was drinking. While we were chatting a small group stopped and asked where i got the coconut water also, they'd been looking for some too, as it was only down the road a bit I took them down to it as it could be easily missed. When I got back to the hotel even an attendant asked me where I got it! I ventured out on my own to get some dinner(down by the coconut water place), it seemed a bit odd going out on my own in the dark but I knew I was perfectly safe.
The weather was a bit cooler today and not quite so humid.
Tomorrow we return to KL by bus again, that's right 5hrs or so on a 3 lane(both ways) highway. With not much to see. C'est la vie.

anita Hi guys, love reading your blogs. I hope David is feeling better for the bus ride back to kl.
Annabel You are a nutter going out by yourself in the dark! Glad it's been such a great trip. You wont want to be coming back to boring monocultural HB!
