Today we wandered about Chinatown, firstly going to the museum. It was very interesting and well displayed, despite lots of upgrading of the facility going on. Entry fee was 1rm (about nz 50c). Today we started by visiting a restored clan house which is tucked away through a narrow lane (also being restored) it's actual location is cannon square given that name due to 10 days of rioting only to be stopped by the British firing a cannon, hence the name. The clan house was really elaborate and cost millions to restore.
