Awaiting news from Guernsey, we delayed our trip to Highams Beach on Jarvis Bay in case we needed to fly home. We spent a lovely - if worrying day - mooching down by the beach, strolling in the hot still sunshine, chatting and watching to world go by, and a lady who sat crosslegged on the grass in the sunshine - apparantly meditating - for over an hour. We got up earlier than usual on a gloriously sunny, hot and blue sky day and headed to Cronulla for a run along the beautiful and undulating coastal path and then meet up with the folks for breakfast and re-convene in the evening for pizza at Gaelle and Michael's. The run, breakfast, chat and evening were all fab - but coloured by news from home that Shirley's dad had a small stroke the day before and was (comfortable and stable) in hospital. What to do?

The day dawned hot and sunny and before a day out in Sydney - we decided to go for a run. Our first for quite a few weeks and as to be expected was hard going.
