So we have been in San Ignacio town for the last few days. A town of around 18,000 people situated 10 miles from the western border to Guatemala.
Its very hilly and tropical here, with a lively town and quite alot of travellers milling about (something we havent seen for a while) lots of nice places to eat, lots of beer drinking going on, and lots of nice friendly people.
The weather has been generally very hot in the mornings, with some showers and thunder/lighting in the afternoons (but still hot)
We where suppose to go caving today but the rains up in the mountains caused flooding so the caves are not passible, hopefully tomorrow we can go and check them out.
We are here for one more day (of hopefully caving!) before we head across another boarder to country number 3 - Guatemala. Just when we have got used to the customes, food, drink and currenty we head off to a completely different place!
