We left Johns at 9.30am this morning and headed towards a campsite near Salamanca.
we have discarded 2 boxes of stuff, clothes mainly. (I still have my food processor lol) Dave says the disco is getting lighter, although he is adiment that he is hanging on to his leather cowboy boots and leather jacket.
our best buys have been a pair of crocs each, rigger boots perfect for helping and boxes of wine for 52 cents a litre. and a few spanish phrases, especially when a little old man comes and sits with you at the bar. should have bought buys. suncream is expensive at 14.00 euros, so we still dont have any.
we have got 4 days off before we start work again Hopefully we wont blow our budget. we have a full tank of diesel and prepared meals in the fridge.
Travelling on the A66 motorway through the mountains and a tunnel that was 4km long. once we popped out the other end we where in the province of Castell de lyon. the scenery has changed from being green and covered in trees to a platau of dry and scrub land. The sky is blue, not a cloud in sight. And we couldnt resist stopping at the services for a grande cafa and a pinchos tortilla = 4.60 euros.
Arrived at the campsite site, Camping Regio (Salamanca) at 4.00pm. Not a bad looking site, it even has a car shower !!!!!!!. going to catch the bus in the morning to Salamanca. x
