Gumieres We arrived at the village of Gumieres, after a lengthy journey on the auto route and 30 Euros in tolls. It's a small village of 294 locals, located in the Loire area of France. It was once nearly a 1,000 inhabitants. The department we are staying in is called Forez. Fayance Travelling to our next destination, Fayance. Heading towards Cannes, Monaco along the motorway. The scenery has changed from lush green to grey coloured mountains and tall cypress trees. Millau Viaduct The Big Day Out Our day started with a journey to the millau viaduct. We headed off to find it, even though its 2,450 meters in length and 32 meters wide. It's the tallest bridge in the world. One wrong turn and you could miss it. We didn't have enough diesel to get there, so took a detour and headed for a town called st.Affrique.
