Singapore...what can I say about Singapore... Its a smallish Island just south of Malaysia...and to be honest if I was here any longer I would have gone to Malaysia. I finished everything I wanted to do in Singapore in 2 days flat making the 4 days I have here slightly long. However that's not to say I haven't had fun cos I have. So its simply like a miniature version of Hong Kong, they were again under British rule for a long while that a lot of our culture...

So from Whale Island it was the final stage to Saigon...via sleeper train, not before a Mexican dinner and Internet use. The Train was again quite comfortable but my burnt back didn't help. This was only a 9-hour journey though and it flew by. So we arrived in Saigon, a bustling metropolis by Vietnam standards and even more mopeds than Hanoi. But we got to see the place where the monk burnt himself to death and the War museum, as well as pottering around as us...

So it was off to Hoi-An on a bus...fully air conditioned obviously! Enroute we went on the stretch known as Ocean Pass, the Sea just looked so inviting, these were the Beaches where the first American Troops landed. There are bunkers scattered over the landscape and Vietnam is only 10 km long from the sea to Cambodia on its western border. The views were beautiful. So Vietnam...what can I say... It's absolutely the most amazing place I have ever had the privilege of visiting. Now you all thought I liked China...well this place is now my favourite. The China tour was so good because of the friends I made while there on top of the sights and experience, I have been very lucky to have made some good ones in Vietnam as well. However the one thing China didn't have was beaches and sun. Vietnam just seemed to encompass eve...

Hey all So I am in Bangkok, and it was a bit scary at first but now I am settling in well. My hotel is gorgeous real 4 star accommodation, plus we have ESPN 24 hours a day. That's how I got to watch Fulham versus Wigan live at 2.30am. The hotel has everything a backpacker could want, restaurants, TV, Swimming pools on both the roof and on the lower floors, car service. Aah this is nice. The pool on the roof is great with panoramic views of the sprawling city...
