Blog Day 19 Wed 25th May 2011
Today is another come down day, we wake up early because last night 5 pre-pubescent 16 year olds were sharing our dorm room, they were good as gold during the night but one of the guys was a real fairy elephant this morning & couldn’t be quite if he tried. So we decide to get up & head into the town to pick up a few bits that we need. We are dodging showers again so its takes up the morning & we get back to the hostel for a quick cup of tea then head of for our next stop at Wilderness. A girl we’ve met here named Klara is going to come to Wilderness with us also. Gavin offers to drop us off to save us waiting 2 hours for the bus so we take this offer up. He tells Dan to give him his address so that he can send over some braai salt and an ostrich egg!! In wilderness we are staying at the Wild Farm, it looks like a fab place in the book & it probably would have been if we had had the weather. It was so wet & windy though that being so far out of the way from town it wasn’t ideal in this weather. The guys we met there were defiantly on something as well, they just looked like those type of people but we went with it & used the afternoon to chill out & meet the few people that were staying there. Our DVDs came in handy for the evening & we all chowed down on Spaghetti Bolognese then watched Welcome to the Jungle.
