Day 16 Sun 22nd May 2011
Well after all the excitement of yesterday today is a slight come down. The weather is threatening rain but we get up & have breakfast & then pack a bag & go for a walk along the route to the new harbor. Along the way we are looking out for the Southern Right Whales but still no joy, the walk to the harbor is very scenic & takes us about 45 minutes. We reach the harbor area & have a stroll around the pier before heading into a bar called Gecko, it was a lovely bar set up on a high level looking out to sea so had great views. We sat in there & watched some rugby & golf for a while then took a stroll back to the hostel to chill out for the rest of the evening.
