Tassie Devil Day 6 - Port Arthur

We spent this morning walking round the historic site at Port Arthur and got to see all the ruins of the old prrison buildings. We also went on a boat tour around the harbour to see the Isle of the Dead, which shockingly is where they buried their dead.

On the way back to Hobart for the end of the tour we topped off at a Tasmanian Devil park and got to see two devils being fed and fighting over their food. After that we also stopped at the site of the Dog Line, which is where they used to have a line of dogs across a thin strip of land which separate Port Arthur from the rest of Tassie, as a security measure for the prison.

When we got back to Hobart, we checked into our hostel for the next few days - The Pickled Frog.
