Stayed for a few nights. Danni had a cold. Very windy. Basic campgound at $4pp/pn. No shelter or water or showers. Flush toilet block. Brackish water at taps. Caught a squid on the jetty! First one got away but I managed to get the 2nd one onto the jetty no problems!

Stayed in Victor Harbor for 1 night. Walked across jetty to visit island. No penguins to be seen.

It is cold again,.... woke up to light rain on the canvas and a chill in the air. Today we jumped into the car and drove up to Robe - I found the spot where the Bega ad "robe isn't famous for robes" was filmed and did a quick tour of the town. Robe is a nice place but was very touristy with many more boutiques and cafes. So glad we stayed at Beachport. After Robe we set off North/East to the Naracoorte Caves National Park. Once again we hit the jackpot with finding a spectacular place to stay. I chose Beachport becuase it was the 'editors pick' from one of the travel mags that I have collected. The other choice was Robe but after visiting Robe today we realised that we weren't missing out on anything. Beachport was only about 2hrs from Nelson but that was plenty far to travel as we were both sufferring from hangovers after our evening with Keith and Belinda at Nelson!! WOW WOW WO...
