Once again we hit the jackpot with finding a spectacular place to stay. I chose Beachport becuase it was the 'editors pick' from one of the travel mags that I have collected. The other choice was Robe but after visiting Robe today we realised that we weren't missing out on anything.

Beachport was only about 2hrs from Nelson but that was plenty far to travel as we were both sufferring from hangovers after our evening with Keith and Belinda at Nelson!!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. Aqua, turquoise blue waters that are so clear and clean lap at the shores of the beach. The caravan park is on the beachfront and about 100mts from centre of town. Beachport is a little bigger than Nelson but not by much. Beachport Jetty is the centrepiece of the town which stretches for 1220m into the Southern Ocean.

Today was HOT HOT HOT!!!! Loving the warm weather (only had about 4 warms days so far on the trip!) and Lilly's spirits picked up when she smelt the surf (she gets so depressed bush camping). For the sunset we strolled down to the jetty for a few photos and a cold drink at the pub before having a very early night.
