Day 31 - 34 in the world of Sam and Dani:We arrived in Koh Phi Phi very hungover and ill from the rough ferry crossing and had to walk what seemed like hours to our bungalow, not fun! But after we had a lil snooze we felt alot better and went exploring. We were staying in the Golden Bungalows which were beach huts in the hills, very nice although it was abit of a trek after a few drinks

The evenings were spent watching thai boxing in the Reggae Bar where tourists were able to get in the ring and fight eachother for the prize of a bucket. After there we'd go to the Irish bar before hitting the beach to party until silly o'clock. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 days we spent in Koh Phi Phi were spoilt with rain but on the nice day we hired a long boat with some friends and went exploring the neighbouring island. We went to Maya Bay which is where The Beach was filmed, then into a cove where we went snorkelling... this was amazing! Well the whole day was, we went into a lagoon which was out of this world, no matter how many pictures you take and what camera its with, they dont do the place any justice!

Koh Phi Phi was hit by the tsunami, although you wouldnt be able to tell. We seen some of the pictures and areas were completely wiped out, because of that buildings are erected so fast - we walked to the beach one day and some thai's were building a hut, the following day it was practically finished!

Dani got a bamboo tattoo in Koh Phi Phi, she went to get a drink and came back with one! It says 'she flys with her own wings' in Hebrew and goes vertically down her neck. We bumped into some friends we'd met in Phuket here so they checked it was right =)
