Cordoba

The bus from Salta to Cordoba was 12 hours so we decided that we'd get the executive seats, and as it was only an extra few pound we fully enjoyed the leather reclining chairs whilst being served food and drinks =)

Cordoba has seven universities so after catching up with the Manchester guys again we decided to go watch one of the university rugby games that was being played. It was a gorgeous day so we ended up staying back at the clubhouse afterwards for a few drinks before having our first (but definately not last) lomito. Back at the hostel we started on the drinking games with the intention of us all going out, but Dani had different ideas. During one of the games she got tired and literally fell asleep where she was, flat out on the bed! The lads carried her to our room to put her in bed but decided to put her in a geeks bed instead just for a laugh, they got a video of it, priceless!!

There wasnt much else going on in Cordoba, we got told to go there for the weekend to party so Sunday afternoon we got on another bus headed for Mendoza... hello wine tasting!!

Mendoza

Mendoza is known as wine country so we were very excited to be here! Our first day we went for food at a pasta place where the owner loved England so we got free wine from him and then worked our way down the street trying different wines at different bars, before going to a restaurant for an amazing steak dinner that was ridiculously cheap!

We did the cycle wine tour with the famous Mr Hugo which was an awesome day. Basically Mr Hugo gives you a bike and a map of the different wineries and you spend the day visiting them. We didnt used to like red wine but we have been converted and because we actually know things about it we like to call ourselves wine connoisseurs

The rest of Mendoza was really chilled, we got on a nightbus headed for Buenos Aires but this time it was the cheapest available and you could tell, it was ridiculously hot and for some reason they think its a good idea to show horrow films!
