Well, Dan Dan the travelling man - that wee fella who's bum I wiped (once) while I was babysitting is now off on his big OE in Aus. Must be fun hearing of the cold and wet in Blighty while you're probably sweating it out good and proper in Summertime Aus. If you are perchance passing through Aotearoa, do pop in for a cuppa - would be delightful to see you and talk of days of yore (yawn?!) over some lapsang souchong. And I can tweak your cheeks (facial variety) and say what a good boy you are, you are. Summer's here too, but just about comfortable sans aircon. Lantyloo has at last booked her ticket to come on over and I am looking forward muchly to seeing the gals and tweaking Bandit's cheeks (of the gluteus maximus sort).
Fare thee well, and watch out for those star-nosed wombats - they pack a massive snuffle!

Candles lit on mantle, Buffy on tv, champagne in Marilyn Monroe champagne glass, kids givin me agro', man back after ten days working away (?), ready for Christmas! Possibly!

Bought myself the videos of "Scrooge" with Alistair Sims, and "Its a Wonderful Life" with the gorgeous James Stewart to get myself in the mood, and I am now. Holly and tha Ivy, God bless, and God Bless Ye my darling boy, Daniel my brother , I can see your red tail lights heading for ....

The plant picture with my name on it is Oleander and the one with Lant's name on is a Pelargonium (Oak leaf variety - leaves have a great smell - I grow it!)
Anyway it's a fascinating website - you must be spending ages fiddling with your computer.
Spent a week working at ITN last week, thank God - at least I can afford Christmas now! Stayed with Lant and the gang which was interesting to say the least as the new heating boiler was being installed and Lant and your mother were painting the living room - I was to put it mildly in the bloody way. Had a really good party at the Three Horseshoes as Chris Wallis has managed to sell up at last - thankfully I wasn't working next day!! Safely ensconced back in Cornnwall with Fellow now - Lovely. Give my love to Melbourne - I'm envious as hell.
