D.D. darling brother! June 12 already. Had half term for girls last week and went to Center Parks: great fun but knackering (as in knack) and met up with Sari and kids for a day. She loved it! Wore my sarong from New Zealand the other day as weather is very hot en ce moment. My gardens are looking good and had a "thankyou " from one customer, nearly fell over.Did visit Dad briefly to collect plants for a flower show but was nice to see him, and seeing Cornwall out if season was strange. Have booked his cottage in Coombe for second week in August and would love to see you there if back in England. Otherwise are in Cornwall from 1 August to end of and will put you up if around. Other news: have planning permission for our extension so we will be posh. Kelsey is great and Abigail is difficult, Neil is still sexy even after 20 years and I've just had my hair dyed to cover all my grey and I still look my age! Damn, being 35 is hard!

Gavin Up In Newcastle
Dearest brother, thought I'd say g'day as I haven't for a while!! (About 10 years in fact....) Great news that you are going up to the Barrier Reef, stroke a shark for me won't you! News here is all rather tame compared to your excitements. But here goes anyway.... I managed to sell the flat but now it's on the market again and about to be reduced, as the doctor woman who made an offer pulled out.(Some poor excuse about her father dying or something.) I 'm doing days on a drama called 'Distant Shores' up in Northumberland. It's got Peter Davison (Doctor Who) and Samantha Bond in it and is quite funny. Will probably be on telly in Oz in the next 10 years! If you're still there to watch.... Morgan is working on a Bollywood film for children and is then going on to something in Manchester, so I'm all on my lonesome quite a bit. The trees are all blossoming and we had a whole day of sunshine last week, so spring is trying it's best!?
Have I told you this joke? What's the difference between yoghurt and an aussie? In time, the yoghurt develops culture!!! If I have, just ignore it...
Missing you loads, but stay out there having a brilliant time, you b*****. Love Gavin XXXXX

Hullo Chum - thanx a lot for the excellent postcard portrait of you by Caravaggio! Sounds like it's all still going very nicely, tho' there hasn't been much evidence lately of you on your web site. Glenn says there'll be plenty of Doom and songs and goes in our boat when you return - 'cept the boat bit won't happen if you're not coming back 'til November! Hope the van is behaving - go carefully. The sun is blazing today and promises to do so for a while - suddenly there are butterflies galore - flowers everywhere - birds building nests like they're going out of fashion, and we are getting all the boats back in the water with their new shiny coats of paint - it's all starting to happen again!! A bunch of us are going cruising round southern Ireland end of June. ( I suppose that means loads of Guinness each night! Oh Dear!). I'm hoping Lant is coming down for a couple of days next weekend which will be nice - gets quite lonely - just me and my li'l ol' dawg 'Fellow'!! That's it - I'm off for a glass of regal at the Sailing Club - It's a hard life! Lots of love, take care of yourself -- Dad xx

Second time Iv'e typed my name and pressed enter just to send my name..doh! Can't believe its April and no postcard or messages from anyone....hello? Its the end of the Easter break here and kids go back to school after two great weeks off. Visited cousins in Norfolk, beachhut in Southwold is mended and painted and looks great, T&T are fab and Sari and family in fine fettle. We had Easter egg hunts, times 12, midnight feasts at 7pm and played til we dropped. Then we went to Twickenham to see Gav and Morgs for a meal out and board games all night. Kran-Kran was up for the duration working in London (it was a long week for him), he looks very well. I have designed and planted a large bed in our garden and go out every morning very expectantly, nature is so slow. Send postcard soon love to you, Lanta.

Hi Dan, we got back safely. Had a great time in New Zealand. Climbed into a volcano, saw dolphins, went kayaking, pony treking, jet boating, lugeing (is that a word?), ate oysters in batter, kumara chips and snapper, snapper, snapper. Neil did his PADI diving course and passed. Girls loved Kate and Lyns house, dogs, chickens, Devonshire cows and pigs. I even did some gardening. Kate is very well and seems laid back and happy. Thanks for a great time in Sydney, isn't it a jewel? Amanda was great too, you must stop letting fabulous, witty and intelligent women slip through your fingers. Regards to Amanda, and love to you. Go visit Kate.

I bunged some money in your Halifax for Xmas & Bday - hope you can get at it. I'm at ITN, been doing quite a lot lately - will pick up Fellow and buzz off back to Cornwall tomorrow. There's a whole lotta plants need tending plus I expect Glenn is missing my singing talents! Bloody good idea to get a crewing job on a boat to who knows where - lucky chap! I'm trying to sort myself out a trip on Prince William or the Stavros S. Niarchos sometime soon as I've now had all my credentials checked to go away as a Watch Leader. Am really enjoying your postcards on this site - keep it up: I'm still jealous as hell tho'. Lots of love - Dad
