Well I've only gone and bought a house on wheels, aint i!?! Tuesday after me and Manda (just good friends now) got back from Sydney, I'm sitting in a cafe with Bauer, drinking a carrafe, s'posed to be looking in the paper for a van but not coz I hate it, when this Toyata Hi-Ace pulls up in front of the cafe with a for sale sign on it. Next day, I'm driving my newly purchased home around Melbourne!!! Bloody marvelous. Two years younger than me, 65000m on the clock (must be on its 10th time round), probably been round the Island 100s of times and she purrs at 100km/h!!!! Paint job's seen some salt air, the fridge ignition doesn't work (which is good coz the gas isn't always on as a result), the sink-tap's motor is unplugged (who needs it?) and there's a special way of locking the rear door, but she's MINE! So far I've taken her to Wilson's Prom (see photos of me cooking!) for the weekend and to Research for a week. But today, I'm taking her on the ferry to Tasmania! Gonna drive round it and see how long my munny lasts, then come back to melbourne and try and get a job........ So prepare for Tazzy photies on my return, Oh yeah, Manda made me promise to say that when I showed the van off to her, she said and I quote, "I'm glad I'm not your girlfriend anymore!"
