Approximately 24 hours ago I set out on the journey to Florence. A few tears and good byes and three flights later, with little to no food or sleep, I am sitting in what I can now call my beautiful Florintine Villa. I've already met the chickens that live here and about 40 other amazing students from Wisconsin and Michigan. I have one of the biggest rooms in Corsi Salviati and I am sharing with two other girls. Sarah is from Michigan and Jade is from Wisconsin. Our windows overlook the hills and a large green yard with the tall, thin, knobbly, evergreen trees edging it. We also have a pretty cool balcony that is blocked off to us by a screen. It's a great place.
I need to get a power strip, some convertors and get my camera charged up so Ican shoot some photos. So, keep your eyes open for pictures!
We have our first Itallian pasta dinner tonight at 19:00. That, and sleeping in my bed are about the only two things I can think about right now, with the exception of my swollen-faced, wisdomless sister and my amazing boyfriend. Other than that I am safe, happy and healthy.
L'Amo, Ciao!
