Decided to do a quick one night stop at Carnarvon. Was still very windy, so we stayed mostly around camp, only leaving to take a drive to the closed 1 mile jetty, visit Chinamans Pond, photograph the big banana, and stock up on groceries and Halloween treats for the kids.
The trees on the main drag had grown bent which testified to the windiness of the place!
