We treated ourselves to a wee lie in before catching the ferry to Lamma. We caught the bus early to see the "Big Buddha" from Mui Wo on Lantau Island and arrived to yet more stunning views of the islands scattered off Lantau. The 400 steps up to the Buddha itself were well worth the effort. After a short walk through the mountain path we stopped off in a tea farm to have fresh local tea (leaves cut right from the plant). Today we awoke and made our way to the prestigious area known as The Peak. The bus dropped us off high in the hills on Hong Kong island amongst the homes of the super rich with breath taking views of Hong Kong surrounding us. We went up to Peak Tower for some Kodak moments before having a wonder around the area. I would like to come back to Hong Kong as a tourist as opposed to a traveller and enjoy some of the experiences the "other half" have in this playground ...

So on Tuesday we decided to continue the theme of getting out of the city and took the guide books advice of going to Stanley.
