Had a very early start this morning. 2.30am wake up call, and down in lobby by 3am for our trip to Abu Simbel. Woke up very early and spent the rest of the morning reading. The train arrived into Aswan at around 10am where we caught a bus to our hotel which was quite nice, and in a fantastic location overlooking the Nile from up on a hill. We had a chance to have some room service lunch and a shower before meeting the guide in the lobby at around 1pm.
