Got up in the morning to a lovely day. As the boarder was still closed, we were stuck in a small place near Sarande for the day. Caught a late bus from Acton through to Victoria, at nearly 2am. Caught the 3am train out to Gatwick airport and checked in without too much trouble. Somewhere between breakfast and boarding the plane my boarding pass went amiss, so was the last person on, although thankfully still got window seats and made it down to Corfu without too much trouble. Last day in Sarajevo. Got up and packed everything up. I went for a very quick walk down to the old Yugoslavian barracks that were in use under President Tito. Although a dictator, his reign is generally looked on favourbaly as everything was rather stable in Yugoslavia, compared to the chaos that would ensue during the coming years. Slept in a bit this morning, but got up in time to go for a quick drive up to an old communications tower that had been destroyed during the war, and get some good views of the city as well.
