Goodbye to Romania. This morning we are off to Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria by train.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay in Bucharest. Saw the second largest building in the world (you need to take about 6 pictures to get the whole thing in), visited a peasant museum (kind of a let down), and walked the main square. Tons of wonderful, friendly people, and a lot of great wandering.

A mysterious, unexplained, somewhat sprained ankle kept me from doing too much walking so we did a lot of people watching in the parks. The mystery remains as to the sore ankle, woke up with it in the morning....not sure how i acquired it. Perhaps in the night there was a battle: tamra vs the sheet. The sheet apparently won...

We are looking forwards to Bulgaria. More pictures and adventures to come!
