Day 8: The Alam went off about 7.30. (the earliest we've got up so far). All got ready, went outside about 9.15 and a bloke from the trekking was waiting for us. Day 7: Woke up from the roughest night ever about 7.30 and thought we had about 15 minutes left until we got to Chiangmai, but turns out we were delayed, instead of a 13.35 journey it turned out to be 17 hours, yes 17. The scenery in chiangmai was so nice better than s***ty Bangkok. Day 6: Started by getting up at 9 absolutely knackered, went down for our last full English for awhile :-(. Went back to our room and packed our bags as we had to check out the hotel by 12 pm. Took our first malaria tablet as we were heading up north, (tasted disgusting). Went and checked out, as we weren't being picked up until 5pm. Day 5: Basically start the same as day 4, go down for breakfast, (full English).
