Tom was graciuosly allowed to join us on our Brugge Excursion. I could tell the jetlag was hitting him, but he was a trooper. Brugge was incredible. The history, the buildings, the art- it was all incredible. Christian, our guide, met us in the morning to accompany us on our bus ride. My love for him dwindled. He talked-loudly-the entire ride. Everyone was over it. I did enjoy much of his history and information while in Brugge but I was dying to break away from the group and do my own thing. The canal ride brought much needed comic relief...I have a video and many hilarious photos to prove it. When we were given our freedom Tom and I enjoyed a delicious lunch and some fabulous wandering. The church undergoing rehab, which houses the piata by Michealangelo was incredible...even in the construction-just beautiful. By the time we made it to the bus, Tom was sleep walking and promptly fell into a coma for the entire bus ride. We rested for a while when we returned then had a delicious dinner at a nearby Thai place. Then we met the entire group for Karaoke and I completely humiliated myself by singing some unknown and ridiculous song. When in Brussels...
